Where I See Clients in Maryland and Virginia
With Bradford Wolf, LCSW
Whether I can see you depends on where you are during the session, not where you live. There are three answers.
If you’re in Maryland, we can meet in person at my office in Rockville or online. If you’re in Virginia, we meet online. If you’d be in DC, I can’t see you, because I’m not licensed there.
I’m Bradford Wolf, a licensed clinical social worker. Below you’ll find the office details and a page for each area I’ve written about, grouped by state.
In person at the Rockville office
My office is at 27 Wood Lane, Rockville, MD 20850. The phone number is (240) 753-0501.
If you’re in Maryland, you can come in, meet online, or do some of each.
Maryland: in person or online
I’m licensed in Maryland, so you can see me from anywhere in the state, in person or by video. Online therapy in Maryland explains how the online side works.
Bethesda. Along Rockville Pike, plus what to know if you work in DC.
Gaithersburg. Upcounty, along the 355 corridor.
Silver Spring. Across the county, and on the Red Line.
Potomac. Right next door to Rockville, and a workday in Virginia is covered too.
Virginia: online only
I’m licensed in Virginia too, but I don’t have an office there, so Virginia sessions are by video. Online therapy in Virginia covers how that works.
Arlington. Scheduling sessions around days you spend in DC.
Alexandria. DC across the river, and Maryland across the Wilson Bridge.
Fairfax. Including George Mason students and what happens on breaks.
McLean and Tysons. Demanding jobs, and a Maryland office across the American Legion Bridge.
If your town isn’t listed
You don’t need your own page to see me. Anywhere in Maryland or Virginia works online, and anywhere in Maryland works in person too. These are just the areas I’ve written about.
DC is the one gap. I’m not licensed there, so for any session, you’d need to be in Maryland or Virginia.
Common questions
-
Yes, as long as you’re in Maryland or Virginia during the session, at work in either state, for example. A session from home in DC won’t work.
-
If you’re in Maryland, yes. Some weeks in person and some online works fine. Virginia sessions are online only.
-
If you move within Maryland or Virginia, nothing changes. If you move anywhere else, we’d have to stop, because my licenses don’t cross state lines. Tell me early if a move is coming, and we’ll plan for it.
Start with a conversation
The free 15-minute consultation is a short phone call. Tell me where you’ll usually be during sessions, and I’ll tell you what will work. There’s no commitment.
